He is always looking for ways to improve and grow the hospital and the imaging department. He has always made certain and covered the needs of referring physicians 24/7. He is a true asset to the department and MARMC.

Joy is such a hard worker, always positive, and never stops giving her all to benefit the Cardiac Rehab Dept, her patients, this hospital and the community as a whole. She is our champion for the Heart Walk and has grown her business greater than 7 times in less than a year. Her patients and her co-workers love and respect her. We are lucky to have Joy here at MARMC.

Rosemary is great to work with. She is always nice and will do whatever she can to help any of her co-workers. She never calls out and even picks up extra shifts when needed. Her patients love her because she does anything that they need. She is a very calm, patient person. Anytime she is working with her patients, she is very thorough and all the while has a smile. We all admire her and are lucky she’s here.

Patient Testimonial: A mom vocalized to a crowded room how wonderful MARMC ER was in taking care of her young daughter. She needed multiple facial stitches and she said Dr. Hoppes was THE BEST doctor she’s ever seen dealing with a pediatric emergency. She said Dr. Hoppes was patient, kind and explained everything. She was overjoyed that the stitches were coming out soon and the wound was healing well with minimal scar. She was impressed and did not hesitate to tell everyone there.

Tara provides excellent care to her patients. Tara volunteers to assist and team leads process improvement projects. She tackled reorganizing departmental supplies since last inventory. Tara team worked with material management to relabel each supply item location and reorganized Inventory Control Sheets by room. Due to her hard work and dedication, Tara and one other volunteer completed our inventory count in 2 1/2 hours, a huge improvement over 5 to 6 hours in October 2011.

Donna is a hard-working, caring individual. She is always considerate of patient needs and takes pride in doing a good job. She always asks the patients if it’s ok if she cleans their room and makes sure if she moves the bedside table back in place when finished cleaning. She always asks patients if there’s any thing she can get for them before she leaves the room, but not without first checking with patient’s nurse. She always has a smile on her face and never complains. She keeps unit looking good. We are very lucky to have her.

Patient called in to say that she was pleasantly surprised by how fast our hospital is. She had an appointment at 8 a.m. for a CT Scan. She arrived about 15 minutes early and they started processing her. She was finished by 8:10 a.m. and couldn’t say enough about how quick and nice Doug was.

Patient Testimonial: Recently, I was in the market for a new family physician. After 20 years with my previous physician, I was a bit apprehensive about making a change. I asked many people about their physicians, received consistent positive recommendations for Dr. Morris. I was not disappointed when I went for my first appointment. Dr. Morris is a highly competent, caring compassionate physician. She’s very good at putting her patients at ease and explaining treatment options. Her office is run very well. Results of lab tests and x-rays are communicated in a timely fashion. She’s a great asset to the MARMC family.

Her attitude and level of care helps make our patients satisfied with Mineral Area. Nancy is always bringing up good ideas to improve patient care, improve on current conditions, or volunteering to come in on a weekend or day off to help coworkers. She is a good example of not only a great employee, but a wonderful person.

Rita has always been helpful and kind. She provides great department to department customer service. Rita assists in setting up new physicians in the transcription system. She provides physicians with helpful instructions and assistance when needed. Rita always offers her time in helping to solve any dictation issues or missing reports. Dr. Hartman is very loyal to our hospital. He has been on staff since 1987–that’s 24 years! He takes call for our hospitalist service and has filled in numerous times when we have had vacant shifts.
